Captain Matt Wood
An ex-military flying instructor and Flight Operations Director, Matt is currently Captain on airbus for EasyJet. As head of training for Eastern Airways, Matt was responsbile for safety management and some 250 pilots and cabin crew. Matt successfully managed a number of audits by external agencies including the CAA.
Matt holds a BSc in Metallurgy and is currently completing a CIPD degree in Human Resource Management. Matt is a natural innovator and "ideas" man.
Nick Maunder
Also an ex-RAF standards qualified flying instructor, qualified weapons instructor and instrument rating examiner, Nick holds a Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in addition to a range of relevant key skills and competencies. Nick is an innovative business leader with an excellent knowledge of aviation, flying operations and training management, and many years experience in UK commercial business at director level, mainly responsible for legal and financial matters.
Nick holds a BEng(Hons)(First Class) degree in Mechanical Engineering and qualified to the OGC's PRINCE2 Practitioner level in project management. Nick is expert in a wide range of current technological sciences. Nick brings a wide range of experience and skill, with a solid commercial base to our consultancy team.
Captain Ian Hollingworth
Ian has 30 years experience at senior level in defence, aviation and technology. An ex-RAF qualified flying intructor and instrument rating examiner, Ian has 18 years experience as British Airways flight crew, notably being in command of the first BA Boeing 747 flight into St Petersberg in 2004.
Ian holds a BSc(Hons)(2:1) degree in Physics and is currently completing a BA in the Humanities. Ian is a founding partner of Aviation Team Skills and is a director of a high-tech communications company.
Dr Raj Nangia
Raj is an independent aerospace engineer and Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society with a close association with Range International. Raj has published and delivered a number of very comprehensive papers on the technical aspects of aerial refuelling for commercial operations.
